Ride with Delivery Workers, directed by Jing Wang, is a powerful documentary that tells the untold stories of immigrant delivery workers in New York City, focusing on their fight for justice, fair working conditions, and the legalization of e-bikes. Through personal narratives, the film captures their resilience and the community they’ve built while navigating economic precarity, systemic injustices, and the challenges of the pandemic.

In designing the poster, I drew inspiration from traditional Chinese art and seals to reflect the perseverance and strength of these workers. The illustration features a lone rider braving a snowstorm, symbolizing the difficult conditions they endure. The grayscale cityscape creates a sense of isolation, while the bold red title card, styled as a Chinese seal on the rider’s backpack, serves as both a cultural homage and a symbol of their fight for recognition.
